Overview

Papyrus City™ was created by Masa K Maeda. This one-day workshop explores and teaches Kanban Method in a fun way while also creating highly collaborative environment. The entire workshop is full of hands-on activities of building a city, and the Kanban practices are introduced as construction takes place. Quantification includes Control diagram, Cumulative flow diagram, Economic quantification sheet and Economic outcome diagram. Papyrus City™ can also be used to learn Scrumban and Scrum.

In this workshop, all participants play each one of the roles (Customer, Leader or Manager, Team Member) resulting in a higher understanding of how the different roles interact with each other from each role’s perspective. It also demonstrates the importance of quality and value to customer, as well as the enterprise.
