What will you do?

This role is a mix of marketing, operations and business development
Manage and facilitate monthly targeted community events
Build cadence, collect feedback, identify and adapt to changes for continuous improvement
Identify and network with prospects to speak/present/sponsor or attend the event
Have a sound knowledge of community offerings, services and ways of working
Define strategy and identify new community initiatives
Devise and implement community communication initiatives
Create quarterly event plan with the volunteers and team members
Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments, and to ensure brand consistency
Publish/Announce information on website, blog, and social media
Onboard new volunteers for the community
Event execution, closure and asset management
Ensure the correctness and completeness of all the community documents
Develop and sustain customer relationships and ensure that all customer contact and visits are documented for follow up, as appropriate
Respond to customer enquiries within stipulated timeline
Build good working relationships with key customers, internally and externally
Meet the assigned targets for the community and the events
Be aware of market trends and preferences and competitor activity

Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
Strong leadership abilities and comfort with public speaking
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to meet deadlines and address time-sensitive issues
Conflict resolution skills
Ability to provide high-level customer service with astute attention to detail and organization
Ability to manage workflow amid shifting priorities
Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
Attention to detail, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills
