Overview

The two-day official SAFe^® Scrum Master course is based on the 5.1 version and provides participants with an understanding of the role of a Scrum Master in a SAFe^® enterprise. It focuses on helping Agile teams deliver maximum business value at scale with tactical skills to be an effective Scrum Master in the SAFe^® environment. The class also provides guidance and tools required to lead effectively in the remote environment with distributed teams.

After attending this course, participants will learn to build high-performing Agile Teams by becoming a servant leader and coach and will learn about the key components of Scaled Agile Development. Subsequently, the participants will be able to provide coaching to those teams, mentor them towards delivering the maximum business value at scale, facilitate Agile events like iteration planning, standups and retrospectives, and discover how to help team plan. A SAFe^® Scrum Master (SSM) certification qualifies the participant as a Scrum Master, and in turn, improves their value to organizations and teams implementing SAFe^®.
